On this mix-tape the guys wanted to do something more for the streets, and touch on topics which they go through as young black males in london.

This was different for the guys because it wasn't the commercial up - tempo music that they were so used to making.

None the less they went ahead with the project and had some serious things to say.

They stunned critics who didn't believe they could produce anything lyrical which would relate to listeners.
